PRF aka the Natural Filler

What is PRF?
PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), is the next generation treatment of platelet concentrate, more advanced than PRP.
Often referred to as “liquid gold,” this treatment requires nothing “foreign” to be injected into the body because it uses your own blood products to stimulate youth using your own growth factors. PRF is a fibrin matrix comprised of platelet cytokines, growth factors and cells used to help promote skin rejuvenation, hair growth and wound healing. Summer is gone and the holidays are approaching. Now is the perfect time for an IPL treatment!
We love summer but unfortunately, our skin does not. IPL therapy can undo the damage that the sun has caused. Treatments cannot be done over recently tanned skin so fall is an ideal time for it. Head into the holidays with brighter, younger looking skin!
What Is IPL?Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, aka photofacial, is a way to improve the color and texture of your skin. IPL treats the skin with quick and powerful flashes of light. This treatment helps restore the skin’s youthful glow by treating the unwanted “reds” and “browns” that dull the complexion, improving overall tone and texture, and minimizing pore size for overall brighter skin! You can use IPL anywhere on your body. The most common areas are the face, neck, chest, shoulders & hands.
How IPL Works
IPL uses light energy to target a certain color in your skin. When the skin is heated, your body gets rid of the unwanted cells. Unlike lasers, the IPL device sends out multiple wavelengths of pulsating light and can treat a variety of skin conditions at the same time.
On a biological level the wavelength spectrum used in IPL targets the tiny pockets of undesirable pigment in the skin. The hemoglobin (red) and melanin (brown) in these pockets absorbs the light, causing them to heat up and fragment, becoming waste or dead cells. Then the skins own specialized cells known as “phagocytes”, mobilize to remove this waste and the dead cells, revealing a clearer and more youthful complexion.

Treatment & Results

The benefits of the treatment are most often seen gradually in the weeks following the procedure.
There is no recovery time required for IPL and clients can immediately resume their normal daily activities post-treatment. IPL therapy can give you excellent results for up to a year!

Not long ago when we heard the word “face mask” we thought of good skin. We thought of skincare masks that are used to help clear our complexion. Now, you probably think of a medical mask.
